Almost Complete

After editing our final lot of filming, the opening is nearly finished. All the footage, music and titles are all done, and all that remains is our voice over. We now have only days left to do this, but feel very confident about how our idea has developed and we feel like we will reach this deadline on time.

We plan to do our voice over recording after school tomorrow, as this gives us plenty of time, before wednesday, to edit and make sure it is perfect for the final product.

Production

After several re-filming sessions, we have finally come to the end of production.

This first filming of our new idea was very successful and we were able to edit and produce the majority of our opening. We then re-filmed the end section, multiple times, as it was difficult to get the lighting as we desired. We spent several hours editing the footage and are both very proud at how the final opening has come out.

The New Planning

Since the last post, we have been solving our issues and coming up with the new idea. We have been very focused on planning a new film which we can film at ease, with no hitches. It has been a long process making sure that everything for this new idea is going to work for us to produce a quality, professional film opening.

Initial Ideas
The plot for our new idea was based on film noir. We were then able to develop our ideas further by watching several film noir film openings. We decided that we wanted to have most of the film in black and white, other than the red glitter shoes. We got this idea from Sin City, however, unfortunately the software we have doesn't allow us to do this, so we must improvise.
